Fletcher Tringham

Fletcher Tringham is Russell Tringham's little brother, and Nash Tringham's son. He and his brother stole the identities of Edward and Alphonse so they could work with a scientist on the Red Stone, or a fake Philosopher's Stone, and continue their dad's work.

Fletcher, the one who was pretending to be Al, was frightened that his brother was too obsessed with finishing their dad's work, and didn't want him to work on it anymore, mainly because the water to make the Red Stone was toxic to humans, but also because of the guilt of stealing someone's identity. He is also a good alchemist, without the Stone's power, and his specialties lie with handling plants.

Russell and Fletcher were also seen in Episode 48, taking Ed and Al's identity a second time, to get some state alchemist books from a book store in Central which had been seized by the Fuhrer. The were jailed for being the Elric brothers who were wanted by Bradley, and they were to be excecuted, but they get saved by two other state alchemists who were spies. Fletcher tells the two what happened so they hide in a room with a fake door and when Ed, Izumi, and Al got infront of it they got warped into the room.
