Danny is a mamodo, and his partner is Mr. Goldo, who has a statue. He doesn't like being called Danny boy. Danny guards
the statue.
When he is in the town where Zatch lives, he lets Zatch and Ponygon see the statue, but the statue gets stolen. Danny gets the statue back from the thieves (with some help from Zatch's Zakare spell). Unfortunately, one of the thieves tried to escape, and Danny tried to hold the vehicle up so the statue
doesn't break, and asks Zatch to use Zakare.
The statue is safe, but Danny's spell book is burning. Before Danny was sent back to the Mamodo world, Mr.
Goldo uses Danny's only spell (Jioruk) because he wanted Danny to look his best when he goes back to the mamodo world.
