Zefiris is a mysterious young lady who tends to appear when the Cassul party finds themselves in trouble with opponents of the unordinary variety. Quiet and solemn, Zefiris is actually a Dragoon, a powerful relic from a war that transpired in mankind's ancient past. She lives on in accordance with her former master's wishes, and chooses to render assistance to and guide the Cassul party, even accepting Shannon as her new D-Knight.  Shannon has difficulty trusting Zefiris, especially as more and more information about the events of five-thousand years ago begin to surface. The most damaging of this pertains to the information about the Dragoons, the Peacemakers, the Providence Breaker, and how they all relate to the hardships that Pacifica, Shannon, and Raquel have had to endure. Shannon's mistrust of Zefiris makes it difficult for her to utilize her full potential, especially during a combat situation where Shannon has to call upon her power to aid him, but despite everything, Zefiris still believes in Shannon and does everything she can to try and convince him that her intentions are not malevolent
