CAREN - PURPLE PEARL VOICE
Caren is the princess of the Antartic ocean, owner of the purple Mermaid Pearl. She first shows up in episode 21 as the winner
of the mermaid contest, then again during the Barbecue of Lucia's class, looking edgy. Although I do not think so, I suspect
that she is supposed to look like Sara because Tarou mistakens her for Sara in broad daylight. She seems to know about Tarou
and Sara as well, because she keeps her eyes glue on Tarou all the time, and even drops her pearl locket purposely to see
his reaction.
Caren is very hostile towards Lucia and them at first, especially Lina. She hates Lina because she feels it's her fault Noelle
got captured, without knowing that it's Noelle who sacrificed herself so Lina can be safe. Caren eventually becomes friends
with them when they saved her from the Black Beauty sisters, but she still refuses to fight together with them. However, she
constantly watches over them and will help them during times of need.
By the way, Caren and Noelle are said to be blood sisters, even though it can be objected because they are from different
oceans (but still can be possible since they are from the polar oceans *shrugs*). Nonetheless they are very close, by the
way Caren reacts when Noelle is finally free =) Caren has her funny side too...when Hanon confronts her in a noodle restaurant
about Tarou, she says "Tarou...who?" innocently, then leaving right away so Hanon has to pay for her meal xD
