NANAMI LUCIA - PINK PEARL VOICE

Nanami Lucia is the heroine of the story. She is the Pink mermaid princess pf the North Pacific ocean. She surfaced onto the human world to look for her lost Mermaid pearl at the beginning of the series. When she succeeds, she accepts the task of defeating the sea monsters clan who has drove the mermaid kingdom to chaos and seek to capture herself as well.

Her "princess" nature makes her quite clumsy when she first arrived into the human world, falling and making a mess while doing chores in Nikora's hotel called "Hotel Peach Parait". As the show progresses she eventually gets better and becomes more "human", by the way she cooks bento for Kaito and takes care of him when he is sick.

Personality-wise, Lucia has a very kind heart, and is willing to help out and give genuine advices to people in need. She is usually happy, but can easily get into paranoia mode, especially towards things about Kaito. Because she is truly in love with him, she gets jealous (Well, more like discouraged) whenever girls get close to Kaito, and wonders if she is attractive enough for him. But nonetheless she tries her best to please Kaitou by being nice to him, and help him out whenever possible, hoping one day he'll fall in love with her. But she can be quite annoying at times with her constant nagging and sticking her nose into Kaito's private business ^^;

Another task she must do is to make Kaito realize that she is the mermaid he loves, without actually saying it to him (or else she'll turn into bubbles!). To achieve this, Lucia (in mermaid form) would attract Kaitou with her beautiful voice and tells him to "search for her". A pretty good idea and it worked quite well too, because now Kaito thinks of the mermaid Lucia day and night ^^

On a side note: Although her voice may be perfect when she is a mermaid, as a human she cannot sing at all. In fact, her terrible singing can cause an earthquake! So if any of you are wondering why she couldn't just sing to get Kaito to recognize her, that would be the reason ^^;
