The Teen Titans found themselves on a race around the world against the Brotherhood of Evil, who were trying to eliminate
teen superheroes for their own sinister purposes. Along the way, the Titans rallied a collection of new allies to their cause!
In the bizarre realm known as Dimension X, Raven recruited the Herald, whose mystical horn leaves criminals
crying the blues; Able to open dimensional portals with his mystical trumpet, Herald sends super-villains packing.
When Robin was abducted by the Brotherhood, it was up to Beast Boy to save his captured teammates. Gathering
new allies Jericho, Herald, Pantha and Mas, Beast Boy successfully led an assault team to liberate the Titans and defeat the
Brotherhood once and for all.

Mal Duncan first joined the Teen Titans without any powers or super-hero identity.
He later donned a special costume and became Guardian. He later abandoned that and brandished a magic horn as Hornblower -
and later, became known as Herald!
Herald was romantically linked to Bumblebee in the Teen Titans comics. They later married and went into semi-retirement from
super-heroing.
Khary Payton - voice of Herald - also provides the voice for Cyborg.
 info to come
Streetwise Mal Duncan was invited to join the Titans by Loren Jupiter in
Teen Titans #26 [1970]. Mal later adopted the identity of the Herald when his girlfriend Karen Beecher [Bumblebee] helped
fashion a dimension-opening Gabriel's Horn for him. Herald and Bumblebee eventually settled down and married. But the Titanic
twosome has come out of 'semi-retirement' when their Titans friends need them.
Raven locates Herald in Dimension X, which is an alien dimension encountered by the Teen Titans way back in
1968. In TEEN TITANS #16 [1968], The Teen Titans discovered that Hillsdale High actually is the secret base for an alien takeover.
Entering "Dimension X," they rescued some of the students. The Dimension X aliens returned in TEEN TITANS #21-22 [1969].
