Is he a puppet made real? Or an evil spirit that possessed a lifeless marionette? His origins may pose a mystery, but Puppet King is an undeniable threat.

When the Puppet King imprisoned Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy inside wooden puppets and took control of the boys' bodies, the girls discovered the spell had a fallout effect: Starfire and Raven had switched bodies.

Learning to understand each other, the heroines were able to free their male teammates. An errant spell dispelled Puppet King's essence - leaving him a lifeless pile of wood.

The Puppet King is based on the comic book foe, The Puppeteer. The Teen Titans battled the Puppeteer in New Teen Titans #9 [1981].
