On an intergalactic trip, the oafish alien named Soto lost his green alien pet dog. And when the Alien Dog bumped into
green dog Beast Boy (who was hanging out at the Dog Park, looking for attention), the Flying Saucer accidentally abducted
the wrong pooch. And when the Titans spotted the Alien Dog, they mistakenly thought it was Beast Boy!
Soto found Beast Boy to be an amusing creature - and aimed to keep the young shape-shifter as his new pet
- on the other side of the galaxy. Meanwhile, the Teen Titans caught up with the Alien Dog - who was able to speak and lead
them to Soto. After a tussle, the Teen Titans were able to finally rescue Beast Boy.
The Alien Dog and Soto agreed to switch roles - with Soto acting as the pet and the Alien Dog as his master.
The Titans, bewildered by the otherworldly duo, watched as the pair traveled back into space.

The alien's name, Soto, is a reference to series director Alex Soto.
In the episode THE BEAST WITHIN, Soto also appears as an alien in a movie, as Beast Boy flips through channels on the TV.
Soto is terrorizing a cartoon version of series producer Glen Murakami.
